We’re looking for passionate professionals to grow with us!We’re looking for a driven, relationship-focused Manager – Business Development to help expand our presence across Southern California’s thriving life sciences market.This role is ideal for someone who understands the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device engineering landscape and thrives on building strategic client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and driving growth.Key Responsibilities:· Develop and grow client relationships across Southern California · Identify and pursue new business opportunities within pharma, biotech, and medical device organizations · Partner with technical and delivery teams to align client needs with GrayMatter’s consulting capabilities · Lead business development efforts from prospecting through proposal and contract execution · Represent GrayMatter Partners at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings · Help shape regional growth strategy and market presence Qualifications:· Experience in business development, account management, or sales within life sciences, engineering, CQV, validation, automation, or consulting services · Strong understanding of the life sciences industry and project lifecycle · Proven ability to build relationships and develop new business · Excellent communication and presentation skills · Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively · Based in Southern California with the ability to travel within the region
