With a lean and highly collaborative team, the company offers strong visibility, scientific influence, and the opportunity to shape medical strategy in a rapidly evolving space.Your New RoleAs a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you will serve as the scientific expert and key external-facing representative for the company across California and the broader West Coast. You will build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), investigators, and academic institutions, supporting clinical development and medical affairs strategy for a T-cell immunotherapy pipeline.This is a high-impact, field-based role within a small biotech, requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.Key ResponsibilitiesScientific Engagement & KOL ManagementIdentify, develop, and maintain relationships with KOLs, investigators, and oncology thought leadersDeliver high-quality scientific exchange on T-cell therapies, immuno-oncology, and clinical dataAct as a trusted partner to external stakeholders, gathering insights to inform internal strategyClinical Trial SupportSupport clinical trial site identification, feasibility, and enrollment strategiesProvide education on study protocols and facilitate communication between investigators and internal teamsCollect and relay insights on trial execution, competitive landscape, and unmet needsMedical Strategy & InsightsGather and synthesize field insights to support clinical development and medical affairs strategyProvide actionable feedback to internal stakeholders including Clinical, Commercial, and R&D teamsMonitor competitive intelligence and emerging data in T-cell therapy and oncologyInternal CollaborationPartner cross-functionally with Clinical Development, Regulatory, and Commercial teamsContribute to the development of medical materials, advisory boards, and scientific contentRepresent Medical Affairs at internal meetings and strategic discussionsWhat You’ll Need to SucceedEducation & ExperienceAdvanced terminal degree required: MD, PhD, PharmD2–5+ years of MSL experience in biotech/pharma preferredStrong background in oncology, with preference for immuno-oncology or cell therapy (CAR-T, TCR, etc.)Skills & CompetenciesDeep scientific understanding of T-cell biology and oncology clinical developmentProven ability to build and maintain KOL relationshipsExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentWillingness to travel (~50–70%) across territory and to conferencesWhat You’ll Get in ReturnOpportunity to join a high-growth biotech at a pivotal stage of developmentStrong visibility and influence within a lean, mission-driven teamCompetitive compensation package including:Bonus + equityComprehensive benefits
