Vice President, Financial Planning and AnalysisA private equity-backed, multi-location healthcare organization is seeking an Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead its financial planning function and support continued growth initiatives.Reporting to executive leadership, this role will provide strategic oversight of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, variance analysis, cash flow management, balance sheet reporting, and long-range planning. The VP, FP&A will play a critical role in improving financial performance, enhancing operational effectiveness, and supporting enterprise-wide decision-making.The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and possess the ability to partner across departments to identify solutions, drive accountability, and deliver results.This position offers a full remote work environment with occassional travel.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and delivery of monthly financial reporting packages, lender compliance reports, and presentations for executive leadership and the Board of Directors.Design, maintain, and continuously improve short- and long-term cash flow forecasts, liquidity management models, and financial planning tools.Own and manage the organization’s integrated three-statement financial model, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives.Direct the annual budgeting process and oversee ongoing forecasting activities to support informed decision-making throughout the year.Partner with business leaders to monitor capital expenditures and strategic investment initiatives, ensuring financial plans remain aligned with organizational priorities.Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for corporate overhead and shared services functions.Collaborate closely with Accounting and Finance teams to analyze monthly financial results, identify variances, and enhance forecasting accuracy.Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the FP&A function by optimizing processes, systems, reporting capabilities, and analytical tools.Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations by evaluating historical performance, current business trends, and future growth opportunities.Develop executive-level analyses and presentations for senior leadership, including the Chief Financial Officer and Board members.Serve as a trusted business partner to operational and functional leaders, communicating financial performance and strategic implications across the organization.Support enterprise-wide strategic initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, financial performance, and long-term profitability.Assess the financial impact of business decisions, operational changes, and growth initiatives in partnership with department leaders.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement across the organization.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required.Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or accounting, with increasing levels of responsibility.Healthcare industry experience is required.Proven expertise in building, maintaining, and enhancing complex financial models for both operational and executive audiences.Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and strategic financial planning.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling best practices.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.Comprehensive understanding of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Experience leading teams, managing cross-functional projects, and driving process improvement initiatives.Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on actionable business insights.Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with executives, physicians, auditors, external partners, and key stakeholders.Successful track record of influencing decision-making, leading organizational change, and collaborating across multiple business functions.Demonstrated commitment to professional growth, continuous learning, and industry best practices.
