We turn that mess into something trustworthy. We're onboarding marquee firm clients, and each one arrives with the same fundamental problem: their data is real, valuable, and a disaster to work with, untagged, unmapped, and inconsistent, with the same concept described five different ways across teams and systems. Making that data usable, at scale, is the heart of this role. THE ROLEYou will own the pipeline that takes a client firm's raw, inconsistent data and turns it into clean, mapped, normalized records inside AUDITLab. This is equal parts engineering and detective work. You'll pull data out of CRMs and case-management systems via APIs and exports, profile what's actually in there, design the field and value mappings that reconcile each firm's idiosyncratic conventions to our canonical model, and build the integrations that keep that data flowing. You'll work side by side with the Operations Manager on architecture and access, and coordinate with our engineering team on the platform side. Early on, you'll be hands-on with high profile onboardings, large, complex datasets that will set the template for how we onboard every firm after them. WHAT YOU'LL DOPull data out of the many different systems law firms use; their case-management and intake software (like Litify, Filevine, SmartAdvocate, CASEpeer, Needles, and Salesforce), call-tracking tools, and spreadsheets using whatever connection each system allows.Dig into each firm's messy data to figure out what's actually in it: what information they track, what it really means, where the same thing is labeled different ways (\"co-counsel\" in one place, \"referred by\" or \"referred from\" in another), and where data is inconsistent, duplicated, or missing.Build and maintain AUDITLab's master template for how data should be organized, one consistent set of categories and labels and create the \"translation guides\" that map each firm's data into it.Build the behind-the-scenes process that cleans up the data, removes duplicates, checks it, and loads it into AUDITLab, and document it clearly so the rest of the team can follow and reuse it.Set up and manage the secure connections to each firm's systems, logins, access keys, and permissions and keep the data flowing and up to date over time, not just imported once and forgotten.Take ownership of data quality: double-check the numbers, build the rules that catch errors, and make sure what ends up in AUDITLab is accurate and something the firm can trust.Work directly with each firm to understand their setup: review their systems, talk to their staff to learn how they do things, and turn those conversations into a clear plan for mapping their data.Create a reusable library of mapping templates so each new firm gets onboarded faster than the last  WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORRequired:Strong SQL and solid data modeling fundamentals (relationships, keys, normalization). Demonstrated experience with data integration / ETL / data migration. moving and transforming data between real systems, not just toy datasets.Working with REST APIs: authentication, pulling and pushing structured data, handling pagination and rate limits.Scripting language for data work (Python strongly preferred).Genuine comfort and patience with messy, inconsistent, real-world data and the judgment to design a clean model out of it.Clear communicator who can sit with non-technical firm staff, ask the right questions, and document decisions. Strongly preferred:Experience with legal case-management or intake CRMs (Litify, Filevine, SmartAdvocate, CASEpeer, Needles, Clio) or Salesforce administration/integration.Background in litigation, mass tort, insurance, healthcare, or another data-heavy regulated domain.Experience building or maintaining a canonical schema, data dictionary, taxonomy, or entity-resolution / record-matching process.Familiarity with modern data tooling (dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, or similar) and data-warehouse concepts.Experience handling PII / PHI and the discipline that comes with it. WHY THIS ROLE MATTERSThis isn't a maintenance seat. The quality of every downstream AUDITLab product depends on the quality of the data you bring in. You'll be one of the first people defining how AUDITLab integrates with the legal world and the standards you set on the large Legal projects will carry forward across the company.EXPECTED PAY RANGE:Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $100,000 -- $110,000 annually.
