Coffee Shop Barista

Role and Responsibilities: Baristas work in the Coffee Shop and are responsible for the setup, cleanup, maintenance, and operation of the coffee shop. The specific duties of a Barista shall include but not be limited to: Taking orders from patrons Preparing and serving coffee drinks in accordance with standard recipes Preparing and serving other food and beverage items in accordance with standard recipes Ensuring accurate accounting by ringing orders into the cash register, collecting payment and making change Clearing and sanitizing tables in the seating area Maintaining clean and sanitary work / storage areas always Recording and maintaining proper cooler and food temperatures based on provided guidelines Qualifications and Education Requirements Weekends and holidays required. Able to be on your feet for the entire shift. Ability to work at a very fast pace. Must be able to work independently. Minimum age requirement is 16. Uniform and dress code required. Preferred Skills Experience recognized but not required.
