The Assistant Controller will work closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to improve reporting accuracy, optimize ERP utilization, and build a high-performing accounting team.\nCore Responsibilities\nLead day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, AR, AP, fixed assets, inventory, leases, and debt in accordance with U.S. GAAP\nOwn the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including timelines, checklists, and preliminary financial statement review\nEnsure accuracy and integrity of financial data within the ERP system (NetSuite)\nPartner with external auditors and manage audit readiness, including timely and complete responses\nSupervise and develop accounting team members, including workload management, performance feedback, and coaching\nCollaborate with operations and supply chain teams on inventory, costing, and manufacturing-related financial matters\nAdditional Responsibilities\nSupport implementation and maintenance of internal controls over financial reporting\nDrive process improvements and automation to enhance scalability and efficiency\nServe as a key user of NetSuite, supporting transaction review, troubleshooting, and reporting\nPartner cross-functionally to improve data accuracy and ERP utilization\nSupport system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements\nAssist in hiring, training, and developing accounting personnel\nWhat You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day\nReviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports\nManaging close timelines and ensuring deadlines are met\nSupporting and reviewing work from AR, AP, and accounting staff\nTroubleshooting ERP issues and validating financial data\nCollaborating with operations on inventory and cost-related questions\nIdentifying process gaps and recommending improvements\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance\nActive CPA license\n6–10+ years of progressive accounting experience\n5+ years of experience leading or supervising accounting teams\nExperience in manufacturing environments, including cost accounting\nExperience working with NetSuite ERP\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills\nPreferred\nExperience in high-growth or scaling organizations\nExperience leading ERP implementations or automation initiatives\nExperience in companies with $500M+ in revenue\nWhy Hyper?\nHyper Solutions is a rapidly growing organization where finance plays a critical role in enabling scale, visibility, and operational efficiency.
