All the personnel on the team will work together to support transport and cybersecurity information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, inclusive of new facilities and building constructions to support the IC mission.\n\nThe right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.\nResponsibilities:\nBuilds, deploys, configures, and maintains on-premises and cloud-based cybersecurity infrastructure and applications running on Windows and Linux operating systems.\nEngineers and implements cybersecurity solutions leveraging cloud services such as EC2, EBS, ELB, S3, and RDS. Provisions AMIs, perform software installations, troubleshooting and maintenance.\nAssists with research and implementation of enterprise-wide cybersecurity solutions/capabilities/enhancements to support customer business/mission goals and objectives.\nEvaluates and recommends changes and/or technology upgrades to address performance, standardization and industry best practices.\nProvides specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.\nRepresents customer requirements in technical exchanges with other government agencies.\nDevelops and maintains architecture diagrams.\nDevelops and maintains a road map for capabilities, operations, and technologies.\nAssists with development and execution of test plans and supporting documentation of all network configuration upgrades, additions or revisions for customer approval before implementation.\nMay serve as a team or task lead.\nCoordinates with stakeholders and external assessors to facilitate security assessments and authorization processes.\nQualifications:\nClearance Required: TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI poly.\n\nDegree and Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Related work experience considered instead of degree).\n6+ years related technical experience in network/cybersecurity engineering and experience with large-scale enterprise/global networks in a highly diverse environment with an emphasis in DoD capabilities.\nRequired Certifications:\nCertified DoD 8140.01 and 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical Officer (IAT) Level III and Information Assurance System Architecture and Engineering Specialist (IASAE) Level II.\nCSSP-Analyst certification within 120 days of start date.\nRequired Skills:\nA deep expertise in one of the following areas and working knowledge of one or more of the other following: Network Detection and Response (NDR), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFWs), Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), F5 platforms, email/web security gateways.\nStrong technical background with a thorough understanding of cloud infrastructure, security principles, compute, storage, and transport.\nExpertise in Windows and Linux server operating systems.\nExcellent writing and communication skills, including the ability to develop analytical documents and present oral presentations to senior/executive management.\nAbility to work independently with little direction and guidance.\nDemonstrated experience modernizing complex enterprise cybersecurity systems.\nAbout Abile Group, Inc.:\nAbile Group, founded in July 2004 to support the Intelligence Community and its contractors across Enterprise Analytics, IT & Systems Engineering, and Program & Project Management, merged with Valiant Solutions in January 2026 - an established provider of cybersecurity technologies and services for Federal Agencies since 2005.
