Class B Local Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Local Driver to join our team. As a Local Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities - Operate commercial vehicles, tri axles and /or quad dump trucks. - Load and unload goods and materials at designated locations. - Ensure the safe transportation of goods, adhering to all traffic regulations and safety protocols. - Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any issues to maintenance personnel. - Maintain accurate records of delivery routes, mileage, and other relevant data. - Communicate with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely and efficient delivery. - Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a satisfactory driving record. - Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols. - Ability to operate dump trucks. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work independently and make sound judgments in high-pressure situations. - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test. Skills - Experience with stone transportation. - Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols. - Strong communication and customer service skills. - Commercial driving experience.
