This is your opportunity to utilize your engineering skills to make an impact on a project that is creating truly life changing innovations!\n\nHow you will make an impact:\nHelp design mobile medical user interfaces including screens and logical workflows\nWork with team members to investigate design approaches, prototype technology and evaluate technical feasibility\nLead architecture, detailed design and code reviews\nDevelop software requirements at all levels, from high level functionality to unit-level requirements\nImplement required functionality in Android-based user interface applications\nDevelop and implement test strategies and detailed testing to drive a high quality product\nSupport other team members towards these and other broader program-level goals\nSkills we are looking for:\nBachelors in Computer Science\n7+ years of experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team\n7+ years of experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes and testing\nProficiency with Kotlin/Android development\nExperience with Git\nExperience with Unit test automation\nUnderstanding of Agile principles of continuous integration\nUnderstanding of multi-threaded and asynchronous development\nUnderstanding of Model-View-Controller-View Model (MVVM)\nUnderstanding of layouts (e.g. constraints, size classes)\nUnderstanding of Android design principles and user interface guidelines\nMedical product development requires excellent documentation skills\nAbout DEKA:\nOne hour from the beach, Boston, and the mountains, the historic Amoskeag Millyard once housed the largest textile mills in the world.
