Apprentices will receive hands-on field training while also attending CEF's accredited piping curriculum over a structured four-year program.This state-recognized apprenticeship combines real-world jobsite experience with classroom learning focused on pipefitting fundamentals, safety, blueprint reading, system installation, and industry best practices. Upon completion, apprentices progress toward becoming fully qualified pipefitters with strong career opportunities within TDIndustries.Essential DutiesAs a Piping Apprentice, you will:Assist with the installation, layout, and fabrication of piping systemsLearn to interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and piping schematicsMeasure, cut, thread, groove, and assemble pipes and fittingsSupport installation of mechanical equipment, valves, supports, and hangersPractice safe use of hand tools, power tools, and specialty pipefitting equipmentWork alongside experienced journeyman pipefitters and field supervisorsAttend weekly CEF classes (typically in the evenings) as part of the training curriculumProgress through skill evaluations and training milestones each yearFollow all TDIndustries safety protocols and quality standardsProgram Details Structured 4-year apprenticeship with paid on-the-job training and CEF schoolingABC curriculum covers pipefitting theory, system installation, math, code and safety requirements, blueprint reading, and mechanical fundamentalsFull-time work with regular pay increases as benchmarks are metAll hours count toward eligibility for journeyman certificationStrong opportunities for career advancement within TDIndustries upon completionMinimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or GEDInterest in pipefitting, construction, mechanical systems, or hands-on workCommitment to completing the full 4-year apprenticeshipAbility to work safely on active job sites and in various environmentsReliable transportation to job sites and CEF classesTeam-oriented attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learnWhy Join TDIndustries?
