The Project Manager will be responsible for organizing and overseeing all facets of the project ensuring timely completion including development of detailed project plans while ensuring resource availability and allocation.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nThis position shall perform the following (to include but not limited to) activities:\nAssist in scheduling of project tasks for assigned government projects.\nProvides the necessary services for Project Management to provide the discipline of planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of project goals and objectives based on Project Management Institute (PMI) standards.\nSupervises and coordinates all Contractor activities and ensures that tasks are performed to the best possible efficiency on all assigned projects\nWorks with the Government and customer counterparts to establish, derive, and elaborate on system requirements and resolve issues.\nEnsures appropriate levels of communications are established and maintained throughout the project cycle.\nAssist Special Projects Manager with the customer in ensuring conformity to all contractual obligations.\nAssist Special Projects Manager with establishing and maintaining technical and financial status reports.\nOrganizes and assigns responsibilities to subordinates and oversees the successful completion of all assigned tasks.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\nEscalate issues to vendor and thirdparty entities, as necessary and directed by the Government.\nCONTRACT REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nThis following are REQUIRED for this position:\nU.S. Citizenship required.\nPossesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.\nContributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.\nPlan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects.\nServe as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects.\nPlan project stages and assess business implications for each stage.\nProven ability to work independently in a full and/or partial remote environment with limited supervision and may supervise/lead others.\nPossess the ability to communicate in both oral and written forms, demonstrating an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff as well as clients.\nMaintain standard working hours per the contract and to be available for meetings, and other collaborative efforts during working hours.\nDemonstrated ability to apply comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments with the ability to use practical experience and training to determine how to accomplish tasks.\nCONTRACT DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nThe following are DESIRED for this position:\nProject Management Professional (PMP) Certification or CAPM\nSAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) or SAFe Scrum Master\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nThe following are the education and experience required for this position:\n69 years of experience and bachelor's degree.\n5+ years of direct experience as a project manager\nExperience as a remote worker demonstrating time management and self discipline with cultural change management and Agile mindset.\nAbout CPMC LLC\nCPMC is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that makes complex program management concepts simple.
