This person will serve as the primary technical bridge between client stakeholders (CXOs, Product Managers, Architects) and offshore/distributed engineering teams -translating business needs into actionable technical roadmaps, driving architecture decisions in real time, and taking ownership of solution design from concept through delivery. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving client environments, is comfortable being the face of engineering onsite, and takes full ownership of outcomes rather than simply executing tickets.\nKey Responsibilities\nClient Partnership & Forward Deployment\nAct as the primary onsite technology SME for client stakeholders, embedding directly within client teams to build trust and accelerate delivery.\nFacilitate onsite discovery workshops, requirement finalization sessions, and architecture alignment meetings with business and technical stakeholders.\nBridge business and technology teams by translating ambiguous business problems into clear, actionable technical designs and roadmaps.\nSupport pre-sales and client expansion activities, including solution demonstrations, POCs/POVs, RFI/RFP responses, and cost estimation.\nSolution Architecture & Ownership\nOwn end-to-end solution design -from architecture blueprint to delivery -for cloud-native, scalable, and secure systems.\nConceptualize and architect solutions leveraging AWS, GCP, and/or Azure, applying Well-Architected Framework principles across performance, security, reliability, scalability, and cost (FinOps).\nDefine and implement scalable landing zones, including greenfield cloud environments and migration strategies for clients at varying levels of cloud maturity.\nDrive modernization initiatives such as monolith-to-microservices transformations, containerization, and adoption of cloud-native and serverless patterns.\nEvaluate and introduce emerging technologies (e.g., Agentic AI / GenAI approaches) where they create measurable business value.\nTechnical Leadership & Governance\nProvide technical leadership, mentorship, and enablement to both onsite and offshore engineering teams, ensuring architectural governance and consistent standards.\nEnsure governance, security, and compliance alignment across global/distributed deployments while balancing innovation with enterprise-grade stability.\nConduct architectural assessments and co-create solution blueprints to accelerate delivery readiness and reduce time-to-value.\nOwn technical decision-making onsite, escalating and resolving blockers quickly to keep distributed delivery teams unblocked.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nClient stakeholders view this person as a trusted technical advisor and the go-to point of contact for architecture decisions.\nOffshore/distributed teams receive clear, well-documented technical direction that reduces rework and accelerates delivery.\nSolutions delivered are secure, scalable, and aligned to business outcomes -not just technically correct.\nDemonstrated measurable impact: cost optimization, reduced time-to-market, improved system reliability, or successful modernization outcomes.\nRequired Qualifications\n10+ years of experience in solution architecture, cloud engineering, or a related technical leadership role, with prior experience working directly onsite with clients.\nProven experience designing and delivering cloud-native solutions on AWS and/or GCP and/or Azure at an enterprise scale.\nStrong hands-on background in microservices architecture, backend development (Java/Spring Boot or equivalent), and modern frontend frameworks (React/Angular).\nDemonstrated experience acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, including running discovery workshops and translating requirements into technical roadmaps.\nExperience with DevOps/CI-CD tooling, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation).\nExperience contributing to pre-sales activities such as RFPs/RFIs, POCs, and solution demonstrations.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills -comfortable presenting to CXOs and technical teams alike.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience across multiple industry verticals such as Healthcare, BFSI, Retail, or Travel & Hospitality.\nHands-on expertise with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, including services such as EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, Cognito, CloudWatch, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Azure Functions, Azure Blob Storage, and related cloud-native services.\nStrong experience designing microservices, event-driven, serverless, and API-first architectures using .Net and Angular.\nExperience modernizing legacy enterprise applications through monolith-to-microservices transformation, containerization, cloud migration, and domain-driven architecture.\nExpertise with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), Terraform, CloudFormation, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, and CodeBuild for DevSecOps and platform automation.\nStrong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, DynamoDB, and Redis.\nExperience building reusable engineering accelerators, enterprise frameworks, SDKs, configurable platforms, or shared architectural components that improve delivery speed and engineering productivity.\nFamiliarity with GenAI/Agentic AI approaches and their practical application in enterprise solutions.\nExperience with identity and SSO frameworks (SAML, PingFederate, Cognito) and API management.\nExposure to data platforms and analytics (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, Looker, Power BI) is a plus.\nPrior experience in a hybrid onsite-offshore delivery model.\nTravel & Location Requirements\nThis role requires the candidate to be based onsite at client locations in the USA, with the flexibility to travel as needed to support client
