We are seeking a tech-savvy, Assistant Quality Assurance Inspector who is motivated by building durable systems, improving decision-making, and growing alongside a values- driven organization.\nQuality Engineer Job Summary:\nA Quality Engineer for aerospace thermoplastic composites plays a pivotal role in ensuring that manufacturing processes and products meet stringent industry standards and customer expectations. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of quality systems specific to aerospace composites.\nJob Duties\n· Develop quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.\n· Develop sampling plans by applying attribute, variable and sequential sampling methods. Review and approve supplier\n· Implement and maintain appropriate statistical tools to monitor and reduce product variation.\n· Collect, Analyze, and present statistical information to company management.\n· Work closely with Manufacturing Operations and Process Engineering to identify and resolve production and quality system deficiencies.\n· Contribute to Continuous Improvement, Mistake-Proofing, and Lean Manufacturing activities.\n· Inspection plan, procedure and document creation as required.\n· Provide training and oversight of all Quality/Project personnel.\n· Lead company root cause analysis and corrective action program.\n· Investigate and correct quality issues; address customer concerns and inquiries.\n· Conduct and support internal/supplierAS/Nadcap/customer audits.\n· Review and approve drawings and other technical documents as required.\n· Support quoting, R&D, improvement and qualification activities.\n· Complete special projects as assigned.\n· Train inspectors on new instructions, processes/procedures, tools, etc.\n· Fulfill the duties of the Company Quality Manager in the Quality Manager’s absence.\nSkills & Qualifications\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mechanical, aerospace, or related field), ASQ CQE preferred.\nExperience: Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in quality engineering, preferably in aerospace or regulated manufacturing.\nTechnical Skills: Proficiency in AS9100/ISO9001, GD&T, statistical process control, inspection methods/planning, RCCA & technical writing.
