This company has been in business for three years and has a license to sell its fertilizer in Iowa. We are looking for a talented and motivated CEO with experience in agriculture to lead the company in 2025 and beyond. This is a full-time position, although we will consider candidates who can work at least half-time initially as they transition to a full-time position. The candidate will work with the founders and other agronomy experts within the company to position our fertilizer, SUPRGrow, and grow the company. We are seeking a forward-thinking agriculture expert to grow Harvest Increase Agriculture.Responsibilities includeManage and develop partnerships with agriculture distributors and seed companiesPublicizing Harvest Increase Agriculture with farmer groups and at regional/national meetingsPurchasing product from chemical suppliersExpanding the ability to sell SUPRGrow in adjacent statesPlanning a strategy to commercialize SUPRGrowIdentify candidates to hire to grow the workforce at Harvest Increase AgricultureWork with the founders and other employeesManaging trials with SUPRGrowLead fundraising roundsSend updates to investorsHighly Desired QualificationsDemonstrated background in commercialization of a new agriculture productDeep knowledge and willingness to learn about fertilizersExperience with managing multiple tasksStrong project management skills and demonstrated ability to grow new product linesExperience working with farmers and agriculture companiesBe agile and willing to pivot as new opportunities ariseBroad experience in agriculturePassion for driving a solution to existing problems in agricultureWhat we offerThis job is an opportunity to grow a start-up company by being involved in all of the decisions and working closely with the founders and other employees.
