Mass Excavation Foreman

Location: Indianapolis, INJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Mass Excavation Foreman to lead and oversee excavation projects in the Indianapolis area. The ideal candidate will be trainable, highly coachable and have strong leadership skills, knowledge of mass excavation processes, and the ability to manage a crew efficiently to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.ResponsibilitiesOperate a CAT D5 Bulldozer equipped with GPSSupervise and coordinate daily activities of mass excavation crew on site.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.Reading blueprints to interpret project plans, specifications, and drawings to guide excavation work.Manage equipment and material usage to optimize productivity.Communicate effectively with superintendents, project managers, and developers. Monitor progress and report any issues or delays promptly.Train and mentor crew members to improve skills and performance.Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to project requirements.Qualifications2+ years operating a CAT D5-D8Proven experience on a Mass Excavation Crew or similar role.Passion for Earthwork.
