Opportunity: RN - EDJob Details: • Work varied schedule in emergency department setting • Provide direct patient care in acute care hospital environment • Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, BLS • Current valid RN license required in state of practice or compact RN licensure • Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required • Experience must include working in acute care setting within past 12 months as RN in specialty area • Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs • Formulate and implement comprehensive plans of care including discharge planning • Coordinate and delegate activities of healthcare team members • Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records • Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching • Provide supervision to licensed and non-licensed personnel • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics • Requires adequate hearing, visual acuity, and fine motor skills • Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluidsFacility: This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center that provides emergency department services and acute care in a professional hospital environment.
