Automation Specialist
Job Description:
An Automation Specialist supports the implementation, operation, and improvement of automated manufacturing equipment. This role focuses on hands-on troubleshooting, minor programming changes, sensor integration, and continuous improvement of existing automation systems.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot PLC, electrical, and mechanical automation issues
Make PLC/HMI changes under engineering guidance
Assist with commissioning and testing of automated equipment
Perform preventive maintenance on automated systems
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree, technical certificate, or equivalent hands-on experience
1–3 years experience with automation, maintenance, or controls
Basic PLC familiarity (editing logic, monitoring, I/O checks)
Ability to read wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings
Strong mechanical + electrical troubleshooting skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
