Lead Application Engineer
This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, systems thinking, and cross-functional collaboration. The Lead Application Engineer will partner with business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and high-performing solutions aligned to our digital transformation strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise application solutions supporting ERP modernization effortsCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutionsDrive system integration efforts across ERP platforms and connected applicationsDevelop, test, and deploy enhancements, customizations, and APIsEnsure system performance, scalability, and reliability across enterprise platformsProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and team membersSupport system upgrades, migrations, and cloud transformation initiativesTroubleshoot and resolve complex application and integration issuesMaintain documentation for system architecture, processes, and configurationsStay current with emerging technologies and best practices in enterprise systems and ERP platformsTechnical SkillsHands-on experience with:TypeScript / JavaScriptNode.js backend developmentReact or similar frontend frameworksSQL Server and/or PostgreSQLExperience modernizing or inheriting legacy systems and transitioning them to internal ownership.Familiarity with Azure-native architectureQualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field5+ years of experience in application engineering, software development, or enterprise systemsHands-on experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similarStrong experience with system integrations, APIs, and data workflowsProficiency in programming languages such as Java, .NET, Python, or similarExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) preferredStrong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex technical challengesExcellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience leading ERP modernization or digital transformation initiativesKnowledge of manufacturing or industrial environmentsFamiliarity with Agile or Scrum methodologiesEqual Opportunity Employer
