Through public-private partnerships and hands-on project support, the Progress Authority helps create opportunities for business investment, job creation, and long-term economic vitality throughout the communities it serves.Executive Assistant – Progress AuthorityThe Progress Authority is seeking a highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to the Executive Director, Vice President of Community & Economic Development, and leadership team. This position plays an important role in the day-to-day operations of the organization and supports its economic and community development activities throughout the region.The Executive Assistant will have a diverse range of responsibilities, including Board administration, financial administration, grant and compliance coordination, contract and lease administration, office and building management, executive support, and social media and marketing.Key responsibilities include:Coordinating Board meetings, agendas, notices, meeting materials, minutes, and Board appointmentsAssisting with internal accounting, banking, financial reporting, invoices, and financial recordsMaintaining organizational registrations and assisting with grant and compliance requirementsCoordinating contracts, professional service agreements, leases, renewals, and related documentationManaging executive scheduling, correspondence, meetings, and organizational recordsCoordinating building maintenance, inspections, vendors, housekeeping, and other facility needsManaging office supplies, equipment, technology, and general office operationsAssisting with social media, marketing, events, and organizational communicationsCommunicating professionally with Board members, businesses, tenants, government agencies, elected officials, and community partnersQualifications: High school diploma required; associate's degree preferred.
