Account Manager - Industrial Chemical Sales ConsultantRemoteISC's team of Chemical, Paint, and Coatings Sales Recruiters is partnering with an Industrial Solutions Provider Position OverviewA well-established industrial solutions provider is seeking an Account Manager - Industrial Chemical Sales to support continued growth in a defined regional territory. This role involves selling specialized products and associated service solutions to commercial and industrial clients. The position requires a balance of new business development and ongoing account management across multiple industry sectors. Job DescriptionThe Account Manager - Industrial Chemical Sales is responsible for identifying new opportunities, actively prospecting and developing accounts, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. Account Manager - Industrial Chemical Sales - Must Have:• 3+ years minimum - Industrial Sales in Account Management - within one of the following: Petrochemicals, Paints/Coatings, Oil & Gas• Must live in Baton Rouge Louisiana area Local Market sales experience - Plaquemine, Port Allen, Addis, White Castle Louisiana Territory• Must have a good working knowledge of industrial contacts in Petro Chemical, Oil & Gas, Coatings/Paint • Mechanically inclined - Technical knowledge component of products, coatings, high temperatures, service conditions • Existing network of established contacts in South Louisiana region. • CRM Management - Zoho - See Value • Preferred college degree in a business or construction related field • Proficiency in Microsoft applications • Must be able to pass background checks as required for entry into facilities along Gulf Coast Account Manager - Industrial Chemical Sales - our client offers:$85k Base salary DOE + Uncapped Commission, Bonus potential Vehicle allowance, Company Credit card Remote work - No overnights (3 hour territory) Average 1st year - total comp $115-$125k+ 2nd year average total comp $150k Account Manager - Industrial Chemical Sales - Responsibilities:• Experience in commercial sales environments, including service-based offerings and facility-related applications • Responsible for growing existing customer accounts, with approximately 15-20% of efforts focused on outbound new business development • Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively use computers and standard business programs • Possesses strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to evaluate changing conditions and make sound decisions • Willingness to learn and understand company-specific products, services, and applications across multiple industry sectors Soft Skills:Relationship building, Collaboration & Teamwork, Excellent Presentation skills, Consultative Approach, Time Management & Organization, Active Listening & Communication Skills.
