Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business and technology needs at the time of the internship assignment.\nResponsibilities may include: Contribute to design and analysis of RF modules used in Cellular Base Stations, Radar, Satellite, GPS systems.\nMeet performance requirements while also considering size, cost, footprint, and schedule requirements and constraints.\nProduce designs with challenging specifications that may require trade studies to make decisions on the path of the design.\nAdapt to new customer requirements for ruggedness, ESD, and quality\nWork closely with other engineering and project management functions to meet design targets.\nWork as a member of a team to contribute design schematics, simulations, and real lab data\nWork with signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and power meters to characterize and compare simulated data to real lab data\nMaintain detailed design documentation, follow established design flows, and policies\nQualifications: Students currently enrolled in MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Physics programs. Undergraduate students in senior year with sufficient course work and laboratory experience who are planned to continue in a graduate program can also be considered.\nStudents must have completed upper-level RF analog circuit design and Electromagnetics courses. Any experience with designing RF circuits with subsequent fabrication and testing is highly desirable.\nA working knowledge of radio system expected.\nRF Design Software Exposure: Very good working knowledge of one or more of the following RF design tools required - ADS, AWR, FEM, HFSS, Momentum, Dynamic Link, Python, Spotfire, Matlab\nMinimum GPA of 3.0\nSelf-Starter with good communication skills\nEffective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling\nStrong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical information\nDetail oriented to ensure design and delivery of high yielding products\nBe able to enjoy working in fast paced work environment\nCompetitive hourly pay commensurate with experience: $31/hr - $42/hr (subject to change dependent on physical location)\nPosted salary ranges are made in good faith.
