Senior PM Domain Analyst
ResponsibilitiesPeraton Labs is seeking an authoritative subject matter expert on program management practices, earned value management, and commercial and defense acquisition processes. This role bridges the gap between engineering teams and the program management domain, defining the analytical models, data schemas, and business rules that drive program management capabilities within an advanced analytical platform.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine data models and ontologies for cost, schedule, risk, and earned value management (EVM) dataEstablish the "ground truth" schemas for structured program data: IMS baselines, cost performance reports, EVM metrics (CPI, SPI, TCPI, EAC, VAC), and IPMDAR formatsDesign health/status scoring methodologies and RAG (Red/Amber/Green) assessment criteriaDefine the rules and heuristics for non-traditional analysis: what signals in unstructured data (meeting notes, emails, briefings) indicate true program health vs. what the structured data reportsValidate analytical outputs from cost/schedule, risk, and data fusion engineers against real-world program management standardsServe as the primary requirements source for all PM-related engineering workDevelop test cases and acceptance criteria for PM analytical featuresAdvise on compliance with DoD acquisition regulations (DoDI 5000 series, EIA-748)QualificationsRequired QualificationsMinimum of 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 6+ YoE with a Master's degree, or 3+ YoE with a PhD in Engineering, Business, or related fieldExperience in commercial or defense program management, earned value management, or acquisition oversightDeep expertise in EVM principles and practices (EIA-748 compliant)Experience with Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and cost performance reportingFamiliarity with IPMDAR/IPMR reporting formats and data elementsUnderstanding of risk management frameworks (DoD Risk, Issue, and Opportunity Management Guide)Strong analytical skills and ability to translate domain knowledge into technical requirementsExcellent communication skills; ability to work effectively with software engineersUS Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearancePreferred QualificationsPMP or DAWIA Program Management certificationExperience with DCMA surveillance or program oversight rolesFamiliarity with data analytics tools and concepts (SQL, Python basics, BI dashboards)Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM) or Earned Value AnalystMaster's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field is preferredPeraton OverviewPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
