Role Description: The HVAC Technical Trainer is a full-time, on-site role at our Voorhees, NJ training facility focused on developing our technicians. This role designs and delivers HVAC training on diagnostics, installation, maintenance, safety, and best practices. The trainer leads classroom and hands-on sessions, assesses skills, creates learning plans to advance technicians from entry-level to advanced proficiency. Responsibilities include preparing materials, coordinating schedules, measuring training effectiveness, and coaching technicians and apprentices. The Technical Trainer works closely with the Service Manager, Installation Manager, and other members of leadership to align training with operational needs, code requirements, manufacturer standards, and customer service goals. Responsibilities:Design curriculum, training materials, and assessments for residential HVAC installation, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair aligned with industry standardsDeliver engaging, hands-on training for both junior and experienced technicians using our live fire equipment and Technical Training CenterStay current with HVAC trends, codes, and safety regulationsCollaborate with leadership to align training with company standardsAssess learner progress and provide actionable feedback for improvementEvaluate technician performance and build personalized development plansTrack and report training outcomes to managementRequired Qualifications:EPA 608 CertificationProven experience in training, teaching, coaching, or instruction — in HVAC or a related skilled tradeSolid working knowledge of residential HVAC systems, including installation, service, and diagnosticsExceptional communicator who can break down complex technical concepts for any audiencePatient, enthusiastic, and adaptable teaching style that works for both beginners and seasoned prosStrong organizational skills for managing training materials, schedules, and progress trackingA team-first attitude that fits the close-knit, family culture we’ve built at Bovio RubinoBenefits & Compensation:$65,000 – $80,000 annual salary (based on experience & qualifications)Health, Dental & Vision Insurance401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off & Paid HolidaysCertification ReimbursementCompany Vehicle & gas cardEmployee discountLife insuranceProfessional development assistance
