Apply today.\n\nElwyn Adult Behavioral Health Services is searching for a dedicated and detail-oriented Program Assistant to join our dynamic Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team in Georgetown, DE.\n\nIn this fulfilling role, you'll be a key player in ensuring the smooth operation of our program. You'll provide both administrative and clinical support, fostering a positive environment for clients and staff alike.\n\nYour Responsibilities:\n\nBe the welcoming face of the ACT program:\nWarmly greet clients and answer phone calls, creating a calming and supportive atmosphere.\nTriage calls, efficiently directing inquiries and concerns to appropriate team members.\nDe-escalate situations with clients experiencing increased symptoms, using effective communication and problem-solving skills.\nAddress client and family questions and concerns, providing accurate information and resources, and connecting them with community services as needed.\n\nMaintain organized and efficient program systems:\nEnsure program records and files are up to date, organized, and readily accessible for the team.\nUpdate policies and procedures manuals to reflect current best practices and regulatory guidelines.\nOrder and manage program supplies, anticipating needs and ensuring the team has the resources they need to function effectively.\nAssist with administrative tasks, including data collection, report preparation, and maintaining accurate client contact records to track progress and service delivery.\n\nSupport the clinical team in delivering quality care:\nPartner with nurses to update client information, ensuring medication and general health records are accurate and reflect any changes.\nMaintain client charts according to regulatory standards set forth by CARF, Elwyn, and other certifying bodies, ensuring all documentation is clear, concise, and up to date.\nAssist with clinical charting and record keeping, documenting interventions, progress notes, and treatment plans to support client care.\n\nHandle additional responsibilities to ensure program success:\nOperate and manage program computer systems, maintaining smooth workflow and data integrity.\nAssist team leaders with billing and insurance verification to guarantee accurate service reimbursement.\nResearch and apply for eligible client benefits, such as Medicare Part D, QMB, and the Pill Bill program, to connect them with vital resources and ease financial burdens.\n\nRequirements:\n\nHigh School diploma with relevant experience. Associate’s degree in human services or a related field preferred.
