Our integrated solution consists of both on-prem infrastructure like full network stack (with switches, routers, firewalling) and Cloud-native software applications running on-prem and in the Cloud to operate and monitor the robotic assembly lines.\n\nDevOps Engineer at Bright Machines designs, builds & manages scalable & secure infrastructure, set-up CI/CD pipelines and tools to enable fast-paced development of mission-critical & complex industrial automation applications.\n\nYou will work directly with R&D, Software Engineering, and IT teams to develop CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure. Our software is designed to be cloud native with the ability to deploy both on-cloud and on-prem infrastructure. Your expertise will be pivotal in developing and operating our stack, which includes:\nAWS and Azure as Cloud providers\nTerraform and Ansible for Infrastructure as Code\nDocker and Kubernetes\nGitLab CI/CD and GitOps practices\nWHAT YOU WILL BE DOING\nBe the champion of industry standard best-practices to establish a strong DevOps culture.\nDesign, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure for running applications and automation systems.\nAutomate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes.\nDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and continuous delivery of software updates.\nImplement and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems, for troubleshooting and ensuring high availability & reliability of the services.\nDrive “shift-left & shift-right” on security. Ensure scans, compliance with the policies and best practices, including vulnerability management and incident response.\nParticipate in on-call rotation for supporting the CI/CD pipelines.\nWHAT WE WANT TO SEE\n5+ years of experience in DevOps role.\nProven track-record of building & maintaining Cloud Infrastructure for mission critical SaaS applications / services.\nExperience with CI/CD tools and GitOps methodologies.\nExperienced writing code in Python and Shell scripts on Linux.\nExpertise in public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.\nStrong experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible etc.).\nProficiency in Docker, Kubernetes & containerization tools.\nExperience with observability tools (Prometheus/Grafana).\nWHAT WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE\nExperience with more recent forms of CI/CD pipelines: MLOps and DevSecOps\nExperience supporting a developer base on MacOS and Windows, in addition to Linux\n\nWHO YOU ARE\nYou are customer obsessed\nYou drive for results, and act like an owner\nYou believe in the power of a team, diversity of thought, and unity of action\nYou always act with integrity, keep your commitments, and practice transparency\nYou think boldly, lead with courage, and demand the highest standards\n#LI-DNI\n\nBE EMPOWERED TO CHANGE AN INDUSTRY\n\nWe’re looking for people who believe they can personally help modernize a global industry and want to work alongside passionate teammates who share their vision.
