Reporting to the Area Supervisor, this position plays an integral part on the team by assisting in our goal to build high quality elevator components.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nDaytoday management of the EECO warehouse\nFamiliarity with inventory control and cycle counting\nUnload inbound containers and mark stock items using barcodes\nReceive and count stock items, from either suppliers or vendors\nUnpack items to be stocked on shelves and warehouse floor\nPack, seal, and label to prepare materials for shipping\nEnsure shipment and inventory transaction accuracy\nOrganize and maintain inventory and storage areas\nClean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in compliance with safety regulations\nExamine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors\nEnsure proper maintenance of all equipment and the physical upkeep of the warehouse\nEnsure productivity objectives and processing time goals are met\nMaintains a cooperative relationship with all departments while interfacing with Operations Manager, Warehouse Supervisor and Project Managers to answer questions or solve problems\nPerform other related duties as assigned\nCapabilities:\nAwareness\nIdentify tasks and provide daytoday assistance and informal guidance to Warehouse Operator 1 team members\nIdentify areas of improvement to establish, innovate, or adjust existing work procedures and practices\nTake immediate action when confronted with a problem or when made aware of a situation\nRead and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings\nComplete most warehouse jobs independently, escalating only complex issues\nContributing to team success\nProvides necessary resources or helps remove obstacles to help the team accomplish its goal.\nShares important or relevant information with the team regularly.\nFulfills team responsibilities; demonstrates personal commitment to the team.\nJob Requirements\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred\n2 years of warehouse experience preferred\nMust be able to read a tape measure\nRequires exercising good judgment\nRequires attention to detail\nAbility to safely use and lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds\nAbility to bend, kneel, and stand for up to 8 hours per day\nBenefits\nAt Hyperion Solutions, Inc. we understand that our employees are our most valuable asset.
