In this role, you will perform laboratory testing in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards under the guidance of a Study Director. You will play a critical role in ensuring data integrity, sample traceability, and high-quality results.Key ResponsibilitiesLaboratory OperationsPerform laboratory testing (GLP and non-GLP) from start to finish under supervisionEnsure all testing follows approved procedures (SOPs, STPs, and related protocols)Maintain accurate, real-time documentation of all test dataTrack and maintain sample traceability throughout testingOrder laboratory supplies and media as neededQuality & ComplianceAdhere to regulatory standards including GLP, GMP, ISO, and internal policiesIdentify, document, and collaborate on quality events (e.g., deviations, unexpected results)Notify the Study Director of any issues during testingAssist with reviewing and maintaining controlled documentsComplete all required training on timeGeneral ResponsibilitiesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentDemonstrate reliability and consistent attendanceSupport team initiatives and continuous improvement effortsPerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsRequired:High School Diploma or equivalentBasic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook)PreferredAssociate degree in a scientific field or equivalent coursework (2+ years higher education)Bachelor’s degree (science-related preferred)2+ years of relevant laboratory experienceCore CompetenciesTechnical SkillsStrong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracyAbility to follow written procedures and maintain Good Documentation Practices (GDP)Basic math, problem-solving, and critical thinking skillsProfessional SkillsStrong organization and time managementEffective written and verbal communicationEagerness to learn and take initiativeTeam & CultureCollaborative team playerHigh level of integrity and accountabilityProactive in identifying process improvementsWork EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional laboratory environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment and lab equipment including but not limited to, computers, keyboards, computer mouse, telephones, photocopiers, file cabinets, microscopes, micropipettes, pipette aids and various hand tools.The possibility exists for exposure to biological and chemical hazards, exposure to carcinogenic compounds and other environmental aspects which may be considered unfavorable.
