Bowhead will provide the High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP) with technical and professional support elements required for the operation of the HPCMP Office (HPCMPO) in all phases of planning and execution of its mission, including: technical and administrative support in all areas of program activity, program management support, meeting facilities and office environment, to include a complete telecommunications and computer systems capability and full logistical services.\n\nResponsibilities:\nInstall, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system.\nMonitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.\nMay monitor and test Web site performance to ensure Web sites operate correctly and without interruption.\nMay assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.\nMay supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists.\nMay administer network security measures.\nQualifications:\n\nBA/S in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related field is required. A combination of experience and education may be accepted in lieu of degree.\nSix years (6+) of relevant technical experience is required.\nIntermediate-to-advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.\nAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.\nStrong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.\n\nPhysical Demands:\n\nMust be able to lift up to 25 pounds\nMust be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time\nMust be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically\n\nSECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret level, may be required to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance upon hire.
