This role requires deep expertise in crisis response, joint planning processes, and battle staff operations at the Combatant Command, Service Headquarters, or USSOCOM level.\nThe ideal candidate brings extensive Special Operations experience, senior-level leadership, and a proven ability to operate within high-tempo, mission-critical environments supporting national-level objectives.\nMinimum Position Requirements\n15+ years of Special Operations experience\nFormer Senior Leader:\nCommissioned Officer (O-5 or higher), OR\nWarrant Officer (CW3 or higher), OR\nSenior Enlisted (E-9)\n2+ years of experience supporting:\nJoint Staff, Combatant Command (CCMD), Service Headquarters, or USSOCOM HQ\n2+ years supporting Joint SOF crisis response operations aligned with national policy frameworks (e.g., PPD-30 / NSPM-36)\nDemonstrated experience supporting battle staff planning, training, and execution, including crisis action planning, exercises, and readiness events\nTop-Secret/SCI\nBachelor's Degree\nRelevant Experience (Highly Desired)\nExperience supporting Joint Staff, Combatant Commands (CCMDs), USSOCOM, TSOCs, or JTF/JSOTF Headquarters\nBackground in key planning or operations roles such as J3/J5/J35/J37 staff, Future Operations Planner, Battle Captain, CAT member, or Exercise/Training Planner\nSOF operational experience within SMU/National Mission Force, Army SOF, Ranger Regiment, MARSOC, Naval Special Warfare, or AFSOC\nExperience in operations, plans, targeting, or contingency response at the unit, task force, or headquarters level\nDemonstrated involvement in readiness events, assessments, or after-action reviews (AARs)\nSierTeK is an equal opportunity employer.
