Full-Time Hybrid Therapist (Associate or Licensed)About the RoleNido Individual & Family Therapy is seeking a full-time hybrid therapist (Associate or Licensed) to join our depth-oriented group practice serving clients across California. This role is ideal for clinicians who are deeply committed to relational, psychodynamic, psychoanalytic, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and neurodivergent-affirming care.At Nido, we believe healing happens through relationship, attunement, curiosity, and sustained therapeutic work—not quick fixes or manualized treatment. We are building a thoughtful, engaged, and collaborative team of therapists who value emotional depth, accountability, continued learning, and meaningful long-term work.Our clinicians work with individuals, couples, families, teens/preteens, and groups in both virtual and in-person settings. Many of our clients identify as LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, BIPOC, and/or are navigating complex trauma.This is not a “see clients and log off” role. Success in this position looks like maintaining a consistent and sustainable caseload, engaging deeply in clinical work, contributing to team culture, participating in ongoing learning and consultation, and helping build the visibility and mission of the practice.ResponsibilitiesProvide depth-oriented psychotherapy utilizing psychodynamic and relational frameworksMaintain a consistent caseload of approximately 20 client sessions per weekConduct weekly scheduled sessions, with some clients seen multiple times weeklyWork with individuals, couples, families, teens/preteens, and groupsMaintain timely, organized, and accurate clinical documentationParticipate in supervision, consultation groups, trainings, and team meetingsCollaborate with colleagues in a reflective and supportive team environmentEngage in ongoing self-reflection, personal growth, and clinical developmentParticipate in networking, community outreach, and marketing effortsCollaborate with the practice’s Creative Director on social media and content creation opportunitiesMaintain strong therapeutic boundaries, reliability, and consistency with clientsSupport an anti-oppressive, LGBTQIA2-S+ affirming, neurodivergent-affirming, and body-liberation-oriented clinical environmentContribute to a warm, inclusive, and values-aligned practice cultureQualificationsRequired QualificationsLicensed or pre-licensed therapist in California (LMFT, AMFT, LCSW, ACSW, LPCC, APCC, Psychologist, etc.)Strong interest in psychodynamic, relational, or psychoanalytic therapyExperience working with trauma and marginalized communitiesExcellent organizational, documentation, and time-management skillsAbility to manage a consistent caseload while maintaining quality careCommitment to anti-oppressive, liberation-oriented clinical workAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environmentWillingness to engage in feedback, consultation, and continued learningAbility to work in-office at least 1-2 days per weekPreferred QualificationsExperience working with couples, families, and/or groupsExperience working with LGBTQ+ clients, neurodivergent clients, and BIPOC communitiesLived experience that aligns with the communities we serveInterest in long-term growth within a group practice settingEngagement in personal therapy and ongoing self-explorationCompensation & BenefitsEstimated annual compensation: $70,000–$150,000 depending on caseload, licensure, and consistencyHealth, dental, and vision insurance eligibilityPaid sick time, holiday PTO, and birthday PTO401(k) and flexible spending accountsWeekly supervision and consultationOngoing trainings and professional developmentSteady referrals and billing supportFlexible schedulingOpportunities for workshops, groups, blogging, and content creationExtensive shared clinical resources and practice library accessCollaborative and reflective team cultureOur ValuesNido IFT is a depth-oriented, relational practice rooted in authenticity, reflection, accountability, and care.
