The ideal candidate will have experience designing cooling and vibration systems, supporting test environments, and collaborating with customers to develop engineering solutions that meet complex testing requirements.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDesign, develop, and support cooling systems, vibration systems, and environmental test equipment.\n\nSupport Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), thermal testing, and vibration testing initiatives.\n\nCollaborate with internal and external customers to gather requirements and develop technical solutions.\n\nEvaluate customer needs and translate requirements into effective test system designs.\n\nDevelop and maintain technical design specifications and supporting documentation.\n\nCreate and modify mechanical designs using CAD tools such as Siemens NX\n\nSupport integration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of environmental test systems.\n\nDetermine schedules, resource requirements, and levels of effort needed to achieve program objectives.\n\nCommunicate technical solutions, capabilities, challenges, and risks to engineering teams, leadership, and customers.\n\nParticipate in design reviews, technical assessments, and engineering evaluations.\n\nSupport hardware integration and system-level testing activities.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience, OR\n\nMaster's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years of experience.\n\nAn additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\n\nActive U.S. Government Secret Clearance.\n\nU.S. Citizenship required.\n\nMinimum 5 years of experience developing and maintaining engineering design specifications.\n\nMinimum 5 years of experience using Siemens NX\n\nMinimum 5 years of experience supporting the design, maintenance, or repair of cooling and vibration test systems.\n\nMinimum 3 years of experience interpreting electrical schematics and interconnect diagrams.\n\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nAdvanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.\n\nAbility to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP).\n\nExperience designing cooling systems utilizing refrigerant-based and/or liquid cooling technologies.\n\nExperience integrating complex hardware systems.\n\nExperience working with MIL-STD-810 Environmental Test Methods.\n\nStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.\n\nExperience presenting technical information during design reviews, engineering meetings, and customer briefings.\n\nAbility to obtain EPA Section 608 Universal Certification.\n\nExperience supporting environmental qualification testing within aerospace, defense, or highly regulated industries.\n\nBenefits\n\nWe offer quality career resources, training, certifications, development opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.\n\nEverforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
