Candidates must demonstrate teamwork, leadership, multi-tasking, and planning skills.\n\nResponsibilities:\nPerform design engineering activities involving the design of vessels, equipment, systems, components, etc.\nDesign of steam, gas and chemical process equipment and systems\nGather and organize information to assist in developing designs, specifications, and drawings of equipment\nAssist with technical evaluations of bids and recommendation for purchase\nAssist with vendor/shop drawings review to assure compliance with design/specifications\nCollaborate with project team members and vendors.\nQualifications:\nMechanical Engineering degree with 3+ years of post academic experience\nFamiliarity with the stage gate capital process and Front End Loading (FEL)\nMust have valid TWIC\nEIT and/or PE preferred\nProficiency with CAD and other engineering software tools\nStrong communication skills\nStrong organization skills\nDemonstration of working well within a team atmosphere\nAny electrical experience would also be highly valued, but not required\n\nFlexible Service has been the hallmark of On-Board since the company's inception in 1976, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
