Our work culture fosters collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning.\nJob Summary\nWe are seeking Junior Grants Analysts to support a federal agency grants office within a defense health program. The Junior Grants Analyst serves as a primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on matters pertaining to grants management. The selected candidate will work independently and under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion, completing projects to successful completion often with deadline pressures.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist ongoing government efforts and initiatives related to developing and maintaining high-performing grants programs and projects across the agency.\nProvide direct support to the Grants Division for the timely award of grants across the agency in support of the federal health mission.\nAccomplish and deliver compliant pre- and post-award documentation and grants documents in accordance with federal and DoD grants principles, including 2 CFR 200 and DoD Grants and Agreement Regulations (DoDGARS), DoD Directives and Instructions, laws, regulations, and procedures.\nAssist in conducting grant award activities, including collecting responsibility information, preparing award notices, distributing awards, and processing requests for debriefing.\nAssist in evaluating grant proposals in accordance with applicable statutes, regulations, policies, and evaluation factors.\nReview requirements for new or follow-on grants and identify potential issues to achieve clear mutual understanding of grant requirements.\nPresent, analyze, and verify data, techniques, methodologies, and formats associated with grants management activities.\nFacilitate communication among project team members, stakeholders, and leadership; manage correspondence and monitor task completion to ensure deadlines are met.\nEnsure correctness and adherence to applicable federal and agency standards, policies, and procedures.\nObserve and extend appropriate military and government protocol.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequired Skills/Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related experience as a federal government and/or contractor employee in a grants management specialist, grants analyst, or grants policy analyst capacity (GS-1102, GS-1109, or equivalent).\nKnowledge or understanding of federal and DoD grants principles, including 2 CFR 200 and Department of Defense Grants and Agreement Regulations (DoDGARS), DoD Directives and Instructions, laws, regulations, and procedures.\nKnowledge or understanding of grants or assistance principles, laws, regulations, and procedures.\nKnowledge or understanding of fact-finding, analysis, and resolution of complex problems, with the ability to develop concrete action plans.\nFamiliarity with budget and/or federal cost principles.\nFamiliarity with federal grant/contract writing systems.\nProficiency in SharePoint and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.\nPrior DoD, Military, or federal defense health agency experience as a Grants Specialist or Contract Analyst (preferred).\nGS-1102 or GS-1109 series experience (preferred).\nBenefits\nComprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans (Healthcare benefits are 100% employer-paid for employees only)\nLife Insurance\nPaid Time Off (Flexible/Combined PTO, Bereavement Leave, 11 Company Paid Holidays)\n401K Retirement Plan with employer match\nProfessional Development Training Reimbursement\nVJH3HBKNFx","company":"Vivsofttechnologies","rawCompany":"vivsofttechnologies","city":"Remote","state":"OR","isRemote":false,"isActive":false,"createdAt":"2026-07-27T13:25:15.478Z","occupations":[{"code":"13-1082.00","title":"Project Management Specialists","slug":"project-management-specialists"},{"code":"43-6014.00","title":"Secretaries and Administrative Assistants, Except Legal, Medical, and Executive","slug":"secretaries-and-administrative-assistants-except-legal-medical-and-executive"},{"code":"13-1199.00","title":"Business Operations Specialists, All Other","slug":"business-operations-specialists-all-other"}],"industries":[{"code":"813211","title":"Grantmaking Foundations","slug":"grantmaking-foundations"},{"code":"921190","title":"Other General Government Support","slug":"other-general-government-support"},{"code":"813219","title":"Other Grantmaking and Giving Services","slug":"other-grantmaking-and-giving-services"}],"jobPosting":{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","title":"Junior Grants Analyst","description":"Title: Junior Grants Analyst\nLocation: Remote, USA\nType: Fulltime, W2\nClearance: Public Trust\n\nAbout the Company\nWe are a mission-driven technology company specializing in Cloud, DevSecOps, Artificial Intelligence, and Digital Experience.
