In addition to making copies of board meeting packages and reports for directors, this individual will also assist the Executive Director in setting up appointments, membership management, typing, filing and scheduling, minute taking, obtaining supplies, coordinating direct mailings, helping with events, and working on special projects.\r\nEssential Functions\r\nUse CRM to manage membership growth.\r\nOutreach to membership to renew membership, as well as potential members.\r\nRespond to member questions and assist with member concerns.\r\nSurvey members who have attended the Emerging Latina Entrepreneur and Leadership program, the Business Management and Leadership Academy, the Micro MBA, and the Supplier Development program.\r\nAssist with Research Projects\r\nAssist with Registration at all NLBWA-IE events.\r\nTraining Programs\r\nProvide NLBWA-IE information at community events\r\nSet up at Events\r\nOrder all materials necessary for setup\r\nOn-site presence for members and partners for support and relationship-building\r\nGeneral programs are listed below\r\nTraining Programs\r\nConnect and Elevate\r\nEmerging Latinas\r\nBMA, Micro MBA, supplier development program\r\nAnnual Procurement project, and BIZMATCH at the conference.\r\nLEILA Awards Gala\r\nLatina BIZCON\r\nAdditional events/programs as needed\r\nSpecialized Skills\r\nStrong organizational abilities, including planning, delegating, program development, and task facilitation\r\nStrong oral and written skills\r\nCold-calling, follow-up, tracking calls, recruitment\r\nSolid, hands-on budget management skills\r\nProblem-solving, conflict resolution, and multitasking skills\r\nAbility to convey the vision of NLBWA-IE and its strategic future to its stakeholders\r\nSkills to collaborate with and motivate NLBWA-IE affiliate members and volunteers\r\nExperience using CRM and other event-planning software\r\nCompetency in Microsoft applications, Asana, Canva, G Business Suite, WordPress, event management software\r\nCompetency utilizing virtual platforms, such as Zoom, Google Meets, WebEx\r\nCompetency using e-mail marketing tools, such as Constant Contact and MailChimp\r\nUnderstanding of social media platforms and management\r\nPrevious experience with nonprofit organizations\r\nSupervisory Responsibility\r\nThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.\r\nWork Environment\r\nThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.\r\nPhysical Demands\r\nFiling is required. This would require the ability to lift 15 lbs; open filing cabinets and bend or stand; take items to events – take and bring promotional/marketing items to events; as necessary.\r\nPosition Type and Expected Hours of Work\r\nThis is a full-time, on-site position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., with one-hour unpaid lunch.
