Position SummaryQualities include but are not limited to: Accurate Reading, Writing, and basic math skills. Safe operation of all equipment including but not limited to forklift and overhead crane.Functions Of The PositionSafely set up and operate a punch press and other punching, notching, or cutting equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job travelers. Ability to measure and verify dimensions using a tape measure. Ability to calculate decimals and fractions figures.Ability to stack completed parts properly on carts and tables.Have a proactive, positive attitude and a strong sense of self-motivation, accountability and responsibility.Good attendance.Must have the ability to work as a team.Organizational skills are a must.Ability to ensure proper use of PPE. Must be able to lift to 50 pounds. Reliable transportation is a must.Must be able to bend, twist, push and pull.Must pass a background check and drug test.Other duties as assigned by management.EducationHigh school diploma or GED.Ability to read, write, and communicate well.Prior factory experience in operating punch presses, saws, or other punching/notching equipment is a plus.
