The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care in the operating room, focusing on orthopedic and neurological cases. Assist in surgical procedures such as laparoscopic cholecystectomy, appendectomy, and bariatric surgeries. Participate in call rotation, including weeknight and weekend call requirements. Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare staff during operations. Maintain accurate documentation using Epic charting system. Adapt to varying case types, including DaVinci robotic surgeries and high-acuity oncological procedures.QualificationsActive Nebraska RN license or ability to obtain prior to start date. Minimum of 2 years of OR experience as a Registered Nurse required. BLS and ACLS certifications required. Experience with DaVinci robotic systems preferred. Previous travel nurse experience preferred; first-time travelers not accepted.
