You will support firewalls, segmentation, routing and switching, network access, and automation while collaborating with on-site data center and infrastructure teams. Occasional travel to Cerebras offices or data centers may be required.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nOperate firewalls, ACLs, segmentation, and network security controls across data center, corporate, and AWS environments.\n\nRemotely support data center network deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and lifecycle management in partnership with on-site teams.\n\nImplement and maintain segmentation, firewall, and ACL policies across corporate, compute, customer, and infrastructure environments.\n\nManage inbound and outbound network controls, including public exposure, NAT, load balancers, DNS filtering, proxies, and egress policies.\n\nImplement and operate VPN, ZTNA, NAC, Wi-Fi, and vendor or partner connectivity.\n\nPerform recurring firewall rule reviews, segmentation audits, and remediation of unnecessary network exposure.\n\nAutomate network and security workflows using Terraform, Ansible, GitOps, Python, and policy as code.\n\nSupport network telemetry, detection, investigation, and containment in partnership with Security Operations.\n\nTroubleshoot routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, and cloud networking issues.\n\nMaintain network architecture documentation, procedures, and runbooks.\n\nCoordinate remote changes and incident response across distributed infrastructure and engineering teams.\n\nSkills and Qualifications\n\n7+ years of experience in network security, network engineering, cloud security, or infrastructure security.\n\nStrong hands-on experience with firewalls, ACLs, segmentation, routing, switching, VPNs, and network troubleshooting.\n\nExperience supporting data center and on-premises network infrastructure, including working effectively with remote hands.\n\nExperience with AWS networking, including VPCs, transit gateways, security groups, and load balancers.\n\nExperience with Palo Alto, Juniper, Cloudflare, or similar platforms.\n\nProficiency with Terraform, Ansible, Python, GitOps, or similar automation tools.\n\nStrong understanding of ZTNA, NAC, egress controls, TCP/IP, DNS, and TLS.\n\nStrong written communication and documentation skills.\n\nAbility to operate independently in a remote environment and collaborate across time zones.\n\nAbility to travel occasionally to Cerebras offices or data centers as business needs require.\n\nRelevant Experience\n\nExperience in several of the following is valuable:\n\nAI, HPC, or large-scale compute environments.\n\nData center networking and security.\n\nAWS network security and segmentation.\n\nZTNA and VPN architectures.\n\nDNS filtering, SWG, proxy, or SASE platforms.\n\nVendor and partner connectivity.\n\nPublic exposure and attack surface remediation.\n\nNetwork detection and incident response.\n\nRemote operation of geographically distributed network infrastructure.\n\nWhy Join Cerebras\n\nPeople who are serious about software make their own hardware.
