{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"cb63ab7749edd65bd43bd2d0","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/cb63ab7749edd65bd43bd2d0","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/cb63ab7749edd65bd43bd2d0","title":"Instructor - Networking Program","description":"If you are unable to complete this application due to a disability, contact this employer to ask for an accommodation or an alternative application process.\n\nInstructor - Networking Program\nPart Time Skokie, IL, US\n\nJob Title: Networking Adjunct Instructor\n\nSupervisor’s Title: Director of Academics/Academic Dean/Program Manager\n\nGeneral Summary :\n\nNetworking Instructor will teach the following courses:\n\nCustomer Service\n\nProfessional Development\n\nClient Operating Systems\n\nWindows Desktop Support I, II\n\nInterconnecting Networking Devices Parts I, II, III, IV\n\nThe instructor will be responsible for planning and delivering in-class instruction with approved curriculum.\n\nTeach up to 27.5 hours week.\n\nPrepare lesson plans for each class session.\n\nDeliver lectures and facilitate Project-Based Learning (PBL) on various business-related topics.\n\nAssist students in the learning process.\n\nEvaluate and monitor student progress through the use of various assessment tools.\n\nKeep necessary records to report Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) to the Academic Dean.\n\nAttend and participate in quarterly campus-wide instructor in-service meetings as required. Stay well-informed with the advancements in teaching by attending professional development activities outside of CSI.\n\nOrganize and lead field outings for student enrichment once per module.\n\nActively contribute to program improvement through the use of committee involvements.\n\nProvide support through academic advising to ensure student growth and retention.\n\nAdditional tasks as needed.\n\nEducation and Experience :\n\nBachelor’s degree or higher in a field of study related to computer networking, computer science, computer information systems or similar fields.\n\nFive years or more of industry related experience preferred.\n\nCertifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA NET+, MCSA.\n\nAll instructors must obtain CompTIA A+, CompTIA NET+, MCSA within 60 days of hire.\n\nIf degree is not directly related to the field of study, a combination of five years of industry related experience and certification in CompTIA A+, CompTIA NET+, MCSA.\n\nPhysical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the instructor is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.\n\nWork Environment: Normal office working conditions.
