Workday HRIS Analyst
STS Technical Services is hiring a Workday HRIS Analyst in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role will support an enterprise-wide Workday implementation and long-term HR systems strategy while working closely with HR, Payroll, IT, business stakeholders and implementation partners.If you have hands-on Workday experience, understand HR processes and know how to support system administration, reporting, testing and optimization, this is a high-impact opportunity to help shape future-state HR technology across the organization.Position OverviewThe Workday HRIS Analyst will support the full lifecycle of a Workday implementation, including deployment, testing, go-live and post-production optimization. This position requires prior hands-on Workday experience and the ability to contribute immediately in a fast-paced implementation environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the full lifecycle of the Workday implementation, including configuration, testing, validation and deployment activitiesPartner with implementation consultants and internal stakeholders to design and optimize HR business processesConfigure and maintain Workday business processes, reports, dashboards, calculated fields and security assignmentsSupport data conversion, data validation and ongoing data integrity effortsExecute and coordinate testing activitiesTroubleshoot Workday issues and collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT and vendors to resolve themAssist with release management, enhancements and post-go-live stabilizationCreate documentation, training materials and end-user support resourcesIdentify opportunities for automation, process improvement and system optimizationRequired Qualifications3 to 5 years of HRIS experienceMinimum 2+ years of hands-on Workday experienceExperience supporting or participating in a Workday implementation, optimization or administration environmentStrong understanding of HR systems, workflows and data structuresExperience with:Workday reportingCalculated fieldsBusiness processesSecurity administrationTesting/UATStrong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, IT and external partnersExcellent communication and organizational skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with one or more Workday modules: Core HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Time Tracking, AbsenceExperience with EIBs, integrations or data conversion activitiesPrior experience in a large-scale implementation environmentExperience supporting post-production enhancements and continuous improvement initiativesWhat Makes This Opportunity UniqueFull enterprise Workday implementation with strong implementation partners already in placeOpportunity to help shape future-state HR technology and processesHigh-visibility role with direct impact across the organizationCollaborative environment with strong executive and project supportLong-term growth opportunities within HR technology and systemsAuthorizationCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.About STS Technical ServicesSTS Technical Services is a Top 100 Staffing Firm that partners with some of the largest names in the aerospace, manufacturing, defense and industrial industries.
