The Embedded Software Engineer is required to acquire, document, review, and interpret customer requirements and specifications. From these requirements, the engineer will design and develop the solution and produce plans and procedures required by the customer.\r\nPrimary Functions\r\nResponsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting software for electronic products for defense vehicles.\r\nIntegrating software in an Agile team setting using continuous integration tools.\r\nRecord and track software bugs to closure.\r\nInvestigate and resolve software issues promptly.\r\nEnsuring quality software and electrical components are developed for off-highway vehicles and vehicle parts.\r\nUtilizing MATLAB/Simulink and C# to develop embedded software.\r\nInterfacing with stakeholders to develop and meet requirements.\r\nIdentify and recommend potential solutions or process improvements for the team.\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\nBachelor's degree in a STEM-related field.\r\nAt least 3 years of demonstrated experience with C#.\r\nAbility to collaborate in a team environment.\r\nKnowledgeable about software programming processes and techniques.\r\nExcellent organizational and time management skills.\r\nExperience with HIL (Hardware in the Loop) or SIL (Software in the Loop) testing.\r\nExperience working with NI hardware.\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nBachelor's degree in computer science, electrical/computer engineering, or software engineering.\r\nWorking experience with MATLAB and Simulink/Stateflow.\r\nExperience developing software in an Agile environment.\r\nKnowledge of software communication protocols.\r\nExperience with troubleshooting electrical systems, schematics, and electronic hardware.\r\nExperience debugging in an embedded systems environment.\r\nExperience with MagicDraw.\r\nExperience working with CAN (J1939).\r\nDesired Qualifications\r\nPrevious experience in the off-highway industry.\r\nExperience working with continuous integration tools and software repositories.\r\nKnowledge of ISOBUS.\r\nAbility to mentor and share knowledge with others.\r\n*We are unable to provide sponsorship support for this role as U.S. Citizenship is required for this client.\r\nDon't meet every single requirement?
