This position will report to the Market Manager in Colorado and represents an opportunity to join an awesome team on the ground floor, learn a lot and have a ton of fun as GRC grows!\nBENEFITS:\n401(k)\nDental Insurance\nHealth insurance\nPaid time off\nVision insurance\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nManage day to day construction activities of a fiber optic utility network.\nWork directly with the market manager to ensure safe and quality construction practices are being met by our internal and subcontract crews.\nYou will be in the field working alongside the crews 75% of your day.\nField verify all construction progress as the work is completed.\nField verification entails using a utility locator to identify depth and offsets of all newly placed conduit, vaults, etc.\nCollect pictures, bore logs, and other data from crews to support customer Quality Control requirements.\nLearn and apply all quality metrics to ongoing and completed work to ensure that finished construction product meets customer, municipality, and environmental specifications and requirements.\nNight work (shifts) on rotation\nQUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS\nMust have at least 3 years’ experience working with and around directional drilling crews in the utility construction industry.\nMust have supervisory experience.\nAbility to work constructively with Environmental Monitors, DOT/OSHA, Municipalities, and other stakeholders.\nStrong understanding of utility construction practices and terminology.\nAble to read, interpret and adjust various construction drawings/prints.\nExperience with locating systems.\nStrong computer skills.\nExperience in data management.\nAbility to stand and walk for long periods of time.\nPREFERRED SKILLS\nStrong data entry skills\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills\nProcess and documentation orientation, with a focus on continuous improvement\nStrong written and verbal communications skills\nExperience with Google Suite and other data entry software.\nHosokawa is an equal opportunity employer.
