This role designs and implements high-performance signal processing algorithms, modernizes software capabilities, and adapts Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) technologies to meet specialized operational requirements. Working within a collaborative engineering environment, the RF Software Engineer develops innovative RF analytic capabilities that support evolving Intelligence Community mission needs.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and implement advanced RF and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms for signal exploitation and analysis.\nDevelop high-performance software focused on processing low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), higher-order modulation, and adaptive modulation signals.\nDesign and implement software solutions using C++, Python, Linux, and related technologies.\nModify and enhance existing software and firmware to integrate COTS and GOTS products in support of Government mission requirements.\nOptimize algorithm performance for throughput, accuracy, scalability, and operational efficiency.\nCollaborate with systems engineers, software developers, and mission stakeholders to develop and integrate RF analytic capabilities.\nDocument algorithm designs, processing models, and implementation approaches to support knowledge transfer and long-term sustainment.\nSupport software integration, testing, debugging, and deployment throughout the software development lifecycle.\nParticipate in Agile development activities, technical reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nQualifications:\nRequired Qualifications\nActive TS/SCI w/ Polygraph with this Customer.\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.\n4+ years of experience developing Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms on projects of similar scope and complexity.\n4+ years of software development experience using C++, Python, Linux, or comparable programming languages.\nExperience designing and implementing RF or DSP algorithms for signal processing or signal exploitation applications.\nExperience modifying or integrating COTS and GOTS software solutions.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience processing low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), higher-order modulation, or adaptive modulation signals.\nExperience with RF signal analysis, SIGINT, communications signal processing, or waveform exploitation.\nExperience developing high-throughput or real-time signal processing applications.\nExperience supporting Intelligence Community mission systems.\nExperience working in Agile software development environments using Git, Jira, and related collaboration tools.\nSalary Range: USD $160,000.00 - USD $170,000.00 /Yr.\n\nThe Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
