Resource will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify needs and will develop analytics initiatives to serve these needs. Resource will directly support senior management in UIA initiatives. Resource will contribute to administrative data initiatives through the production of assorted governmental products. Resource will perform the following duties:\r\nResearch and Analysis – Resource will represent the department through researching and consulting activity designed to support internal and external stakeholders, including, but not limited to: Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity; Unemployment Insurance Agency; and Not-For-Profit Organizations.\r\nCommunicate with customer as needed throughout process to refine research targets.\r\nDesign research process, identifying appropriate data sources.\r\nConduct research and produce analysis.\r\nDemonstrate customer service excellence by providing high quality results that meet or exceed customer and department expectations.\r\nData Analysis on Agency Initiatives - Resource will contribute significantly to multiple ongoing Agency initiatives and projects, such as the internal and external dashboards.\r\nCollaborate with partners in state departments/agencies.\r\nMeet regularly with customers in LEO, DTMB, and the Governor’s Office to ensure customer needs are being meet.\r\nGather data from various internal and external sources.\r\nPresent reports, tools, and data as requested or required.\r\nKnowledge:\r\nKnowledge of research methods.\r\nKnowledge of statistics.\r\nKnowledge of statistical and visualization software.\r\nKnowledge of administrative data.\r\nKnowledge of longitudinal data.\r\nSkills: Service Orientation. Active Listening. Critical Thinking. Speaking. Writing. Complex Problem Solving. Judgment and Decision Making. Reading Comprehension. Active Learning. Instructing, SQL, Excel, some Tableau.\r\nAbilities: Deductive Reasoning. Inductive Reasoning. Written Comprehension. Written Expression. Oral Comprehension. Oral Expression.
