The environment includes Microsoft technologies, modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, cloud services, databases, APIs, and DevOps tooling.\n\nWhat You Will Be Doing\n\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise web applications and services.\nDevelop modern applications using JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems, including technologies such as React, React Native, Node.js/Express, Angular, Bootstrap, Tailwind, HTML5, and CSS3.\nDevelop application functionality integrating with SQL Server, Oracle, APIs, enterprise applications, and data services.\nWork with analysts, product owners, customers, and technical teams to translate business requirements and user stories into working software.\nDevelop and maintain user interfaces using modern, responsive, mobile-first development practices.\nSupport application integrations, migrations, enhancements, defect resolution, and production troubleshooting.\nParticipate throughout the Systems Engineering Life Cycle, from requirements and design through testing, deployment, operations, and maintenance.\nDevelop unit tests and support functional, regression, integration, automated, usability, and accessibility testing.\nParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and release activities.\nSupport continuous integration, automated deployment, configuration management, and release processes using technologies such as GitLab and Ansible.\nDevelop applications in accordance with federal cybersecurity and Section 508 accessibility requirements.\n\nWhat We Need From You (Required)\n\nBachelor's degree in a technical or related discipline.\n5+ years of experience in a programming language or development environment.\nHands-on software development experience with modern web application technologies.\nExperience with JavaScript/TypeScript and one or more modern frameworks such as React, Node.js, or Angular.\nExperience integrating applications with databases, APIs, or enterprise services.\nExperience troubleshooting application and code-level issues.\nExperience working within an Agile development environment.\nAbility to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nBonus Points (Desired)\n\nMicrosoft Azure application development.\nAWS cloud environments.\nMicrosoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online, or Office 365.\nSQL Server or Oracle.\nGitLab, Ansible, Terraform, or related CI/CD tooling.\nDocker or other container technologies.\nFederal government or DHS application-development experience.\nSection 508/accessibility experience.\n\nWork Location\n\nRemote in the U.S.\n\nEducation\n\nBA/BS in a technical or related discipline\n\nClearance Requirements\n\nMust be able to obtain a U.S. DHS Public Trust suitability determination.\nU.S. Citizenship Required.\n\nBenefits & Perks\n\nAt MetaPhase, we care about your well-being and success.
