Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments to patients - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with mental health disorders - Prescribe and monitor medication regimens for patients - Conduct therapy sessions with patients to address emotional, behavioral, and psychological issues - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and treatment plans - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records of patient interactions and treatment progress - Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times - Stay current with advancements in psychiatric research, treatments, and medications Qualifications: - Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution - Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry - Valid state medical license to practice Psychiatry - Experience working with patients with behavioral health disorders, including PTSD, developmental disabilities, and other mental health conditions - Strong knowledge of psychiatric medications and their indications, contraindications, and side effects - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues - Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting - Strong organizational skills to manage patient caseload and documentation Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
