{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"cb3f669af87a9d2f86cff4f0","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/cb3f669af87a9d2f86cff4f0","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/cb3f669af87a9d2f86cff4f0","title":"Lab Operator","description":"Job Title: Lab Operator\nPay Rate: $20 to $21/HR\nDuration: 12 months\nLocation: Newark, DE\nShift: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm EST\nCleaned glass, metal, and plastic parts by performing repetitive short-cycle tasks/movements.\nWill use hand and power tools, small to large machinery, and test equipment.\nPerforms visual and mechanical inspection/calibration/testing using written and/or graphic instructions and test procedures.\nResponsible for basic set-ups, adjustments, and equipment monitoring.\nNotify appropriate personnel if process/method is out of compliance.\nAssist in investigating causes for non-compliance.\nRotates between operations within a work cell as well as between work cells and departments.\nAssists in maintaining work cell and/or department records.\nUsed a manufacturing system to replenish components, check component availability, cycle time, and report production.\nPrepares production documentation (efficiency & quality records), ensuring information is correct.\nAssists in training co-workers.\nJob responsibility:\nCollect dirty glassware, plastic containers, and metal parts from the production area.\nWash, sanitize, and return cleaned items to the production area.\nProperly assemble, package, label, and store production parts.\nAlways follow area safety rules and complete all required safety training.\nMaintain the working area and storage area, keeping them clean and well-organized.\nRespond to and satisfy production area needs.\nFollow all area procedures, and never deviate without approval.\nEscalate all issues and reach out to the appropriate supporting teams.\nKeep clear documentation of all work done.\nWilling to adjust work time to align with urgent requests to satisfy production needs.\nActively look for opportunities to improve process efficiency.
