As a Batch Maker, you will be expected to set up, operate, or tend machines to mix or blend materials/chemicals - liquids, powders and/or color pigments. Company benefits include but are not limited to:\r\nMedical, dental and vision coverage\r\nLife Insurance\r\nAnnual Employee Bonus Program\r\n401k and Pension\r\nGenerous Vacation and Holiday time\r\n$18.50 per hour\r\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\r\nReview daily batch tickets\r\nMake sure raw materials are available for daily activities\r\nRun batches through PLC / Whirl Air system\r\nStart machines to mix or blend ingredients; then allow them to mix for specified times\r\nWeigh or measure materials, ingredients, and products to ensure conformance to requirements.\r\nStart and maintain status of equipment for daily activities\r\nOperate or tend machines to mix or blend chemicals, powders, and color pigments.\r\nDump or pour specified amounts of materials into machinery and equipment.\r\nAdd or mix chemicals, powders, and ingredients for processing, using hand tools or other devices.\r\nObserve production and monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.\r\nStop mixing or blending machines when specified product qualities are obtained, and open valves and start pumps to transfer mixtures\r\nCollect samples of materials or products for laboratory testing.\r\nExamine materials, ingredients, or products visually or with hands, in order to ensure conformance to established standards\r\nFill appropriate containers with product. Weigh and measure finished product.
