This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with dealership accounting experience, strong administrative capabilities, and the ambition to grow into higher-level leadership roles within the organization. Position SummaryThe Office Manager will oversee daily accounting and administrative operations within the dealership while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. This role requires hands-on experience in automotive dealership accounting processes, proficiency with CDK and Microsoft Excel, and the ability to supervise a small team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and capable of balancing leadership responsibilities with day-to-day operational tasks. Key ResponsibilitiesUtilize CDK and Microsoft Excel to manage daily accounting and administrative activities Post daily bank transactions to the general ledger accurately and timely Reconcile accounting schedules and identify/correct posting discrepancies Manage petty cash transactions and maintain accurate records Process and record check deposits received through mail Sort and distribute incoming mail and related documentation Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and internal controls Supervise and support a team of two employees Collaborate closely with the Finance Secretary and Cashier Provide administrative and accounting support to the Controller as needed Assist with month-end closing activities when required Required QualificationsPrior automotive dealership experience required Strong understanding of accounting principles and dealership operations Proficiency with CDK Dealer Management System (DMS) Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment Proven leadership and team management capabilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Preferred Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will demonstrate: A proactive, go-getter mentality Strong problem-solving and analytical skills A positive, professional attitude The ability to lead by example and support team success A willingness to take on additional responsibilities and grow within the organization
