front-line involvement with estimating and providing direct supervision to subcontractors in order to achieve a successful, safe project that is completed on time and within budget.\nDUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nLeadership & Management\nProvide overall leadership to the project team from subcontractor procurement through close-out to ensure a safe, profitable & timely completed project, while maintaining customer satisfaction.\nManage project budget and track all costs to provide monthly financial forecasts.\nConduct onsite subcontractor and owner progress/coordination meetings.\nWork with Sales and Design team to ensure project scope and budget align with customer expectations.\nMaintain communication with customer throughout project from kick-off through close-out.\nCommunicate with Design team and Subcontractors to proactively solve constructability issues.\nCoordinate monthly billings with Accounting department, including any necessary substantiation.\n\nPlanning & Scheduling\nCreate and plan the schedule for each project and update progress throughout project.\nCoordinate subcontractors and manage progress according to project schedule to meet necessary milestones & deadlines.\nCoordinate with Design team and advise on project constructability.\nUnderstand & manage changes to the project plan while maintaining promised completion date.\nProvide projections and manage changes due to weather, emergencies or other delays.\nProvide projections of materials and equipment deliveries.\nProvide reports on timeline, progress & adjustments to project team and customer.\n\nOversight & Safety\nEnsure quality construction exceeds company standards and proper industry techniques and processes are utilized, while ensuring the client’s needs and wants are efficiently met.\nWork with design team to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with the contract requirements and design intent.\nMaintain and manage onsite safety plan to ensure all work meets safety guidelines and OSHA standards.\nOrder, manage and oversee delivery of materials and equipment.\nWork with subcontractors to plan, organize and direct daily site construction activities.\nContracts & Permits\nProvide overall contract administration throughout close-out of assigned projects.\nWrite subcontractor scopes of work and bidding documents.\nProcure subcontractor and equipment pricing.\nWrite and award subcontracts and purchase orders.\nNegotiate contracts with vendors & suppliers\nObtain local building permits as required for assigned projects\nEnsure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.\n\nCollaboration & Communication\nProvide assistance in the estimating process to the Design/ Estimating team to help ensure accuracy.\nProactively communicate between the customer and the project team to ensure that everyone is properly informed of necessary information.\nMaintain excellent direct communication with the project team to proactively manage potential site issues.\n\nWORKING CONDITIONS\n\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.\nThe employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites.\nThe noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.\nThis position may be performed in outside weather conditions.","company":"Performance Services","rawCompany":"performance services","city":"St Louis","state":"MO","isRemote":false,"isActive":false,"createdAt":"2026-04-12T20:24:31.327Z","occupations":[{"code":"11-9021.00","title":"Construction Managers","slug":"construction-managers"},{"code":"13-1082.00","title":"Project Management Specialists","slug":"project-management-specialists"},{"code":"47-1011.00","title":"First-Line Supervisors of Construction Trades and Extraction Workers","slug":"first-line-supervisors-of-construction-trades-and-extraction-workers"}],"industries":[{"code":"236220","title":"Commercial and Institutional Building Construction","slug":"commercial-and-institutional-building-construction"},{"code":"237990","title":"Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction","slug":"other-heavy-and-civil-engineering-construction"},{"code":"238990","title":"All Other Specialty Trade Contractors","slug":"all-other-specialty-trade-contractors"}],"jobPosting":{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"JobPosting","title":"Construction Project Manager","description":"Job Description: Project Manager\n\nPOSITION PURPOSE\n\nThe Project Manager position is responsible for providing leadership on assigned projects in order to maintain positive customer relationships;
