Description Clean, sand, and prime surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of coatings.Remove rust, debris, and old coatings using techniques like sandblasting, chemical stripping, or wire brushing.Mask areas that should not be painted or coated. Apply multiple coats as required, ensuring smooth and even coverage without runs or streaks.Use topcoats and finishing products to protect and seal the painted surfaces. Follow all safety protocols, including wearing protective gear (respirators, gloves, eye protection, etc.).Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including proper disposal of chemicals, paints, and powders.Adhere to safety standards regarding ventilation, especially when working with hazardous materials like solvents and powders.RequirementsExperience: 1 year experience in a paint related position.High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications are a plus).Proven experience in wet painting (preferably in an industrial or automotive setting).Experience with electrostatic spray guns, curing ovens, and liquid painting equipment. Knowledge of safety procedures when handling chemicals and operating coating equipment.Strong attention to detail and an eye for color accuracy and surface finishes.Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
